Throughout my intern, I was primarily working on drafting, as well as handling schedules and quotations for residential project management. Internship allowed me to understand and have a build mindset, and how I could create a better design experience for my users such as catering to personalization like cabinet height and storage options.

MEADOWS PROJECT
From my internship, I gained alot of experience on project management and hence I understood the order of drawings needed starting from the demolishing plan which shows those partition walls that needs to be hacked in dotted lines and the new walls that needs to be built in a thicker line-weight for easy recognition. Followed by the furniture plan which shows the fixed and loose furniture, allowing viewers to get an idea of the space.
This is a detailed drawing of a TV console with a single flip down door panel while the rest are drawers. Comparted inside the flip down door panel are hidden power points for the wall mounted TV with concealed wiring behind a partition wall since the client wanted a minimalist look. Different sectional drawings are done to show the different drawer and flip down panel storage with zoom in detail to allow better understanding for construction.
This is a detailed drawing of a metal shoe cabinet with in-built pelmet slot for T5 light, the zoom in detail drawings '1' and '2' shows in great detail for the suppliers or contractors so that they will be able to know the dimensions and exact specifications to construct it.
The bathroom requires more detail by adding the layout of the tiles that will be laid. As for this bathroom design it is unique as most bathrooms would not have a glass panel on the shower wall, but in this case, it is special and the height of it is perfect while maintaining the privacy of the user in it.
Door schedules construction drawings are also important for the carpenters or suppliers to quote based on design and sizing. It also allow us to know which doors are for which locations.
In this case for the elevation detail drawing and material rendering, with complicated mix of materials used for different parts of the wardrobe and cabinet, a legend indicating the type of material and the render is done to let the carpenter know which areas to apply the material. For cabinets, the drawings would usually require an external as well as an internal view for the carpentry construction.
Elevation drawings shows the overview of the space and the objects the while the sectional construction drawings often show the building dimensions as well as the detailing for the cabinets. Section drawings of the kitchen cabinet also shows the hidden details of appliances and accessories that we cannot visualize from elevation drawings.
